SimTrac 1000 Electro-Static Air Cleaner

The SimTrac 1000 is designed for the exacting demands of the automated machine tool, metal working, and plastic industries to control a wide range of airbourne pollution. It will effectively remove the mist and fumes "at source" and ensure good visibility for the operator, prevent egress into the factory, and provide a clean working environment.

Application

The SimTrac 1000 is designed for direct attachment to most machines and machining centres. It will remove the mist and fumes directly from the machine enclosure by means of a short suction hose, and return the recovered oil to the machine.

 

Health & Safety

Most types of airborne pollution present a potential health hazard particularly when not removed at source. They can also cause damage to computer systems, heating plant and machinery.

The SimTrac 1000 controls these fumes effectively at source, and prevents egress into the environment. It complies with current COSHH requirements, and other health and safety standards.

 

Maintenance

Attention is usually confined to routine cleaning of the filter components by means of steam, detergent etc. *All filter components can easily be withdrawn for service. The internal support tray can be removed completly to proved access to the sump

Controls

All controls and mains isolator are located in a seperate sealed compartment. The control lights are clearly displayed on the front panel, and provide positive indication of the condition of the filter and its maintenance requirements.

High Efficiency

The SimTrac 1000 incorporates a unique combination of 4 filter stages designed to remove tiny droplets, mist, and smoke in ONE unit with an effieciency of up to 99%

The completely self contained LOW COST compact answer to the control of emissions generated when bench welding, With a ruggedly constructed open top welding bench with a down draft exhaust system which is sufficient to control the emissions but not disturb the gas shield when using inert gasses.

The collected emissions are passed through the unit where the particulate is stripped out of the air stream to such a degree that in the majority of installations the cleaned air can be re-circulated back into the workshop area with the resultant heat savings.
